Sire: BLAENLLAIN DOODLEBA (BART) is our own
homebred stallion, he has had many wins & championships
in showing both under saddle and in hand. He won the
Welsh pony & cob Medal as a foal at the Welsh Pony &
Cob International Centenary Show, he won a WP& C
performance medal first time shown under saddle as a 4yo.
Ive also competed BART in dressage being 3rd first time out and show
jumping being regularly placed & jumping double clears.
BART is also currently ridden by the Owner of Cel Aeron
Equestrian Centre, Kelly Webb. They are successfully
competing at affiliated dressage scoring very well and been
given praise from the judges. I am also aiming to continue
competing him in Show jumping. BART is out of our own very successful
show & competition mare BLAENLLAIN DOODLEBERRY (Hopefully
to be put forward for grading) who was by the TB stallion Old
Lucky who also sired Mary Kings top class
eventer King Solomon III.
BART'S progeny are doing very well in the show ring winning
and taking Supremes and Championships at county level in
WPB, SHP & PBA. His first crop of foals were born in 2007 and
are due out under saddle for the 2011 season. They all seem to
have inherited his excellent qualities including the lovely
temperament, looks, jump & trainability.
IT IS OUR AIM TO WORK BART TOWARDS GRADING WITH A
RECOGNISED SOCIETY TO PROVE HIS EXCELLENT TEMPERAMENT,
ABILITY, VERSATILITY, TRAINABILITY AND
SOUNDNESS. Dam:
BLAENLLAIN
ZETA'S DREAM (hopefully
to be put forward for grading). ZETA is our own homebred 15hh pink papered warm blood bay
mare, ZETA is out of Neat & Trim who was
a TB mare who raced before retiring to the show ring.
We have shown ZETA with great success in SHP youngstock and more
recently SHP brood mare with a foal at foot. ZETA is by the Swedish Warm blood stallion
Zidjian ( he has
had progeny that were on the market for offers in excess of
£20,000 H&H March 2001) Zidjian was from the best
Swedish bloodlines his G.Sire Optimist was a Grade A
Stallion who proved himself in Show jumping & Dressage,
Zidjians sire Besk also proved himself in show
jumping & dressage while his dam Grace has proven
ability in show jumping. Zidjian was graded and gained the
title of reserve Champion in 1994 by the British Warm Blood
Society He was given praise for his jumping technique and
was awarded exceptionally high marks for his conformation.
Our opinion
Combining these competition lines with
BART'S
showing and competition lines I feel that this youngster
should have the potential to be a top class WPB/PBA/SHP/WHP/SPORTS/COMPETITION/DRESSAGE
pony with the temperament to be a genuine R.C/P.C family all
rounder.
